View Full Gallery UT Race Jahshan Bhatti On Saturday, the University of Texas at Austin hosted a road race and team time trial at Pace Bend park. The location was perfect–seeing the stars out so bright before sunrise and the park’s beauty (so many bluebonnets!) in daylight.

Mitchell Sides View More Photos Last weekend was Tunis-Roubaix put on by Texas A&M, and it was also the first SCCCCCCCCC collegiate cycling conference competition compendium of the year! It also happened to be my first collegiate race weekend.

Mitchell Sides After Walburg, I was even more excited for the second road race of the season, Pace Bend. I had done a triathlon in the same park last semester, but I was in worse shape then, so I remembered mountains instead of the little climbs.
